Digital Broad Communication Examples

Egg passion.png

This artifact was taken from Twitter and shows a conversation that took place. Since Twitter is a public platform, this artifact is being classified as having a broad audience, because anyone could have responded to the original message. It is a communication because of the exchange of information that occurs, as well as the general conversational tone the artifact has.

This artifact was originally attached to an audition form created by White Mouse Theatre Productions and put out to gather people interested in performing with them that year, thus trying to reach a broad audience.

While this artifact is more formal than some of the other examples included in this exhibit, it is still an example of everyday writing because it is an example of how this particular student organization engages with the medium of everyday writing. To learn more about how organizations, and in particular White Mouse, engage with everyday writing, check out this exhibit: https://museumofeverydaywriting.omeka.net/exhibits/show/whitemouse
