As seen above, this artifact is an Instagram post showing Monica Rueda’s acceptance into Florida State University beginning the Summer 2016 term. The submitter’s own comments included with the post show that this is indeed a “milestone” for her, prompting her to excitedly share with her followers on the platform. The inclusion of the red and yellow hearts intentionally mirrors the garnet and gold school colors while her use of school-related hashtags also maintains this direct connection to FSU.

This artifact is particularly unique when compared to the prior ones in that it includes a photo of the FSU application form and acceptance message, a highly private form that is only viewable to those with a login username and password. The choice to publicize this personal message greatly shows the excitement surrounding Monica's acceptance into the university. This everyday writing exhibits the diverse nature of social media postings and how each person using social media can choose to display deeply personal information should they so desire.
