When Can We Facetime?

       This artifact shows Laura Frank asking her daughter when she would be able to FaceTime and chat with the family. Her daughter, Rachel, is always happy to connect with all of her family together, but it is complicated. With a combination of academic, internship, and sorority responsibilities, as well as poor internet connection, it's a challenge for Rachel to be available during the times her parents are as well. However, they did have a family FaceTime call later that day. This artifact demonstrates the simple way everyday writing can facilitate the communication of a long-distance family.
