The Daughter's Response

       While home for Spring Break, Rachel wrote the chalkboard message in the first image for her mother to find before leaving for the airport with her parents. Laura teared up when she read the message, however, this would change the course of the chalkboard's fate for a little while.

       The second image is evidence of the chalkboard's altered existence. As the countdown for the family reunion restarts, Laura hasn't been able to erase Rachel's message from Spring Break. Instead, she has simply written in a smaller font underneath her daughter's message and continues to send her photos of the chalkboard with new edits every morning.
