This is a planner entry written by Nicolette Bauermeister.
The submitter provided the following about the artifact’s history: "This piece is made of a planner from Target that I got maybe two weeks before moving into college and ironically forgot at home so I had to have my parents send it to me. There are two different colored ink pens; the green is used for my classes and their times while the blue is used for any homework, exams, etc. There are pink sticky pointers on the agenda that point to things I find important. I chose to share this piece because it showed my first real week of college. I was so nervous for that first exam that I didn’t sleep at all the night before. I know that I’ll think back to that day years from now and think of how silly it was for me to get worked up enough to place a pink sticky pointer by the event. The second sticky pointer points to an event called “Nole Call” which is where freshmen sign up for their fall classes. I was also very worried about this event since it was in a building I wasn’t too familiar and I was scared of being late or getting lost, ironically enough, I was the first one there. This planner holds every little and major thing I do every day; I would be a complete mess without it. My mom taught me how to keep a planner ever since I was in middle school, she always told me how important it was to stay organized, she was definitely right especially in college. She has kept all of her planners from her college years so I plan to do the same, that way I can one day look back and go back to every day."
