Appeal to Sentiment

This is meant to be a pointed statement. This is a black woman who is saying that her ancestors have suffered throughout history in different ways so that the people today could have something better. She is implying that this is not what they died fighting for, and that people still need to change. This is a response to slavery, bringing up an issue that make many uncomfortable. Even the US museums refused to really have something dedicated to the issue until recently.

This is also a response to the "All Lives Matter" statement made in response to the Black Lives Matter movement. Many believe that people that are on the side of "All Lives Matter" are less considerate of people are are different from their own. More directly, it is addressing that stereotypical right-wing, religious, white person, questioning whether or not they really mean that in it's full sense.
