Light In August Planning Page
Dublin Core
Description
This artifact is a planning page written before an in-class essay assignment on 20th century novels. The planning page focuses on the importance of gender roles in Faulkner's "Light In August".
The submitter provided the following about the artifact’s history:
This is an essay planning page that I did right before an in-class essay I had to do for 20th Century Novels. She surprised the class by sending out the prompt an hour before class so I was rushing to get all my thoughts and quotations in order before going into class. It helped a lot and I got an A- on the paper.

Male role: traditionally hyper masculine, agressive, player, misogynistic, lack of emotional response.
