No Time For A Broken Heart

Crawling

I’ve been living on the floor

Clawing

Looking for something more

Thought I saw it, in your eyes

That thing id been hoping to find

I’d been broken before but I thought I’d give you a try

Bitter

Should’ve known where it would go

Quitter

You were here and now you’re no more

Boiling tears gush down my face

My screams, they fill the night

What happened to not giving up without a fight?

Landed back on my knees

Oh how could this be

Why can’t nothing go right?

That familiar feeling

It leaves me reeling

Still got the wounds from your bite

You did not stick around

And I don’t like the ground

So a change of scenery is due

Go ahead, come tell me

Damn me to hell

Convince me that I need you
