Description

This artifact is a message written on a strip of newspaper by Wade for his girlfriend Stephanie.

The submitter provided the following about the artifact’s history: My boyfriend Wade who lives on the other side of Florida from me came to visit the summer of 2016. We decided to go to the Ringling Museum, an art museum by my house. While there, he handed me a twisted up piece of paper tied in the shape of a ring which, when I opened it, said: "I promise to stay with you from here on out Forever :)". It was a sort of promise ring to work through things together because we were both unsure where our relationship was headed after we left for Summer since we were both new to dating and to this relationship and were unsure if we would last during a 3-month long break. This ring just solidified our feelings for each other and is one of my favorite notes he has ever given me. It is made up of a torn piece of news paper.
