Description

This artifact is a grandmother's notes to herself about a pattern for making a blanket.
The submitter provided the following about the artifact’s history:
When I was first learning how to crochet, my grandmother passed on a box full of crochet supplies to me. The box contained about a dozen skeins of yarn in varying shades of color, a few metal crochet hooks, an old book of patterns, and the beginnings of an afghan blanket that she had started but did not think she would finish. Pinned to the blanket-in-progress was this pattern she had handwritten on two thin sheets of paper for a "Lightning Bolt Crochet Afghan."
