2 large eggs, separated (use yolks in batter, keep whites aside)
1 cup low fat milk
1/2 cup plain low fat yogurt
2 tblsp. canola oil
2 tblsp. sugar
1 tsp. vanilla extract
1 1/2 c. all purpose flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. salt
2 large egg whites (whip whites, beat in 1/4 mixture, fold in rest).

1/2 c. sugar
1/4 c. dark corn syrup
1/4 c. H2O
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 c. milk, cream <underlined> or <underlined> evaporated milk
