As every pet owner knows, our pets are adorable, and the world deserves to see them. Because of this thinking, photos are uploaded everyday to Facebook, Twitter, Snapchat, etc. of owners showing off their pets. As a result, we have thousands of beautiful dog and cat photos shared online everyday! In this exhibit, you will see shared pet photos across the three aforementioned social media platforms as family and friends post their animals for the world to see and adore. We may not think of social media as a writing platform, but the act of daily texting and posting is a new media of everyday writing which combines photos and videos with text.  This new wave of communication and technology has transformed the concept of everyday writing to encompass the new social media world.
