Artistic Venting

AV 2019-March.jpg

This exhibit is a journal entry primarily, but the focus of the page is on the watercolor paint that covers the page. Primarily blue and grey, resembling rainwater running down a pane of glass, this artistic addition is representative of the author’s emotional atmosphere at the time they wrote the journal entry. Additionally, the small doodle at the bottom of the page gives hints to the author’s physical state at the time this article was written. As opposed to an unadorned journal entry, this page gives the reader an immediate sense of the author’s mood.

A watercolor painting with a blue and purple background covered in white stars and a black 3D ring in the center of the page. In the bottom left corner of the page, the text "where else do you have to go?" is written.
