History museums can be the place where one might learn the most about ancient Egypt or what Native Americans did before the arrival of Europeans. These types of museums can be the most informative to what we learn about our histories and gives us a place to see what types of objects peoples used to take advantage of and see displays of how one may have looked.

When scrolling through the history museum tag on Instagram, I noticed that not only do history museums inform us when we visit them, but they inform us in digital spaces as well. The artifacts represented in this space all tell us a little bit of history from the picture that they posted—be it Nefertiti and Akhenaten or Sacrifice Cliff, the creators took the information they were given and relayed it to us in a way that was quick and easy to read, but still giving us a new fact we may not have known before.

When we define everyday writing, we think of it as informal and relaxed. When seeing a type of post like this on Instagram, you read it with that same kind of relaxation that you don't get when trying to read an academic paper for class—yet we learn something just the same.
