@fsugoddess's blessing, @fsumiku's dance, @fsukirby's jumps

I decided to reach out to other more niche or underrated gimmick accounts for some extra opinions and perspective. These are some of their opinions. The goddess of FSU herself started me off with her reasoning why she made her gimmick account, and she recognizes it as something she made on a whim, something incredibly fun back when gimmick accounts were but a rarity. She cites that her inspiration was a long-gone gimmick account known as @fsupsychward (now defunct) that I showed concern over because I was aware of @fsupsychward but did not know what happened to them after their disappearance. Fortunately, she ensured that @fsupsychward is doing well, and took inspiration from the various things that she found entertaining about that account. I was enthralled with her origin story and found myself intrigued and appreciative of her space, unhinged, unfettered, free, and very confident, even as she endures her struggles.

She does struggle with mental illness, and @fsupsychward appealed to that quality about her. As a person that struggled with mental illness, this liberated style of posting and meme sharing resonated with her, and thus, she took that humor, refined the style, and became someone akin to her inspiration, appealing to and supporting those with both neurodivergent and neurotypical qualities. Through this, she gives a welcome space for those struggling with mental health and other disorders, offering relatability and community for people who do not feel as if they fit in because of their different orders of thinking. As a person studying Psychology as one of my majors, I was very enamored with her thought process. This made me find myself respecting and feeling the community she strove to cultivate from her posts, as her love and care for students that are both like and not like her, permeates the room like a calming essenital oil.

I then went to my dear friend, @fsmiku, to ask her about her origin story, and her community started off as a way of coping with the loss of her relationship with an ex-boyfriend. She utilized the negativity from the situation to reach out to others and cultivate new bonds among the gimmick accounts, finding a light in the darkness by her communication with others. This goes to show that gimmick accounts may also be used as a way to find joy and satisfaction with others through community engagement. The gimmick community is very welcoming, very understanding, and the diversity in experience provides people with various perspectives and ways to connect with fellow students at the university.

The most beautiful thing from my interaction with @fsmiku, is the fact that she quite literally meets other students running gimmick accounts from other schools, thus showing that gimmick accounts transcend just FSU, but is also covering other schools throughout the state of Florida. They truly are a unique phenomena invading generation Z.

I then reached out to @fsu.kirby, who happens to be an alum of Florida State University and a local business owner in Tallahassee. (their business in @juno.prints, and they do Market Wednesdays, events, and other locales) They started the gimmick account while they were a student at FSU, and as such, has evolved since. They are an exceptional artist that takes time to draw and work with one of their favorite video game characters (Kirby), they utilize Kirby as a way to represent themselves and their business, and they have gotten very much involved with the gimmick community and the FSU community as a whole.
