Iteration 3: Expansion

This was a more advanced stage of planning, in which I had completed much more sophisitcated levels of research and was actively assembling my prospectus. This change in medium reflects that paper and pen was now a constraint; I needed more space to expand my planning and assemble a true narrative for my argument. Thus, I turned to the stand-in whiteboard. The lack of the true object required that I get creative. A mirror, in my personal experience, worked just as well. Using a dry erase marker, I drew connections between fact, analysis, and citation to fully map out the greater understanding of my subject matter I had gained through the research process. This planning period provided the basic outline for my first draft of the prospectus, and would help carry me through the rest of the journey as it grew and changed. Even in this advanced stage, elements of my intial planning remained; the Dorian Gray effect is written in the lower half of the board.
