Description

This artifact is a sign drawn by Erika Sorensen during her time working as a camp counselor in 2017. Off to the side of the large "mermicorns" text is a list of "ice breakers" for campers. The submitter provided the following about the artifact’s history:
"The sign says "Mermicorns" which was the nickname for the campers living in bunk 14A for the summer. The group of 13 girls were 10 years old and 'Mermicorns' refers to a mythical cross between a mermaid and a unicorn."
