Description

This animation, created by Megan Keaton, shows a cartoon panda waving and then wishing the viewer happy birthday and asking for the viewer to come feed it.

The submitter provided the following about the artifact’s history: I created this as a reveal for my husband’s 30th birthday. He had recently become very interested in pandas so I arranged from us to feed the pandas at the Atlanta zoo. I played this animation to introduce this birthday surprise.

Visual Text

On a white background sits a cartoon panda, who fills up most of the white square. The panda is a combination of shades of black and gray. For instance, its ears are black inside, then have a semicircle of dark gray, then another semi circle of light gray. Its front paws are black while its back paws are dark gray. Its eyes are green. The panda sits on its bottom with its back paws facing the viewer. Its left hand is on its stomach while the right hand waves at the viewer.

It waves three times and then opens its mouth. Out of its mouth floats "HAPPY BIRTHDAY" on letter at a time. HAPPY is written in red block letters with a black outline. BIRTHDAY is written in blue block letters with a black outline. The letters settle around the panda's head. HAPPY is around the panda's left ear. BIRTHDAY settles around the right ears and the right side of the panda's face.

After the HAPPY BIRTHDAY is done, three white circles with black outlines appear from the panda's mouth. The first is the smallest and is in the panda's mouth. The two increase respectively in size and appear to the right of each of the previous circles. Then, to the right of the third circle appears a white cloud with a black outline. Inside the cloud appears, the text "Come feed me!" in thin blue sans serif letters. P
