Linguistic Text

I feel so empty like
There's nothing left -
Like nothing is left to
do - I make it through
each lonely day because
I think of you - when
I look up at the starts at
Night I see you lovely
face and I hope that God
has given you a very special
Place. For when you pass
Through St. Peter's gate you
name will simply read
love & faith

Visual Text

The poem is written on medical stationary advertising a drug. The lined paper is purple, darker at the top than the bottom. At the top of the page is the logo for the drug, two multicolored arrows moving from the name of the drug to its dosages. There is a dark line separating the heading from the lined section of the paper, and a dark purple line at the bottom of the page separating the lined section of the paper from the stationary company information.
