Description

Sermon notes and reflections. During church, Glenda Berky would takes notes and reflect on the pastor's sermon. These reflections, which were probably written in the late 80's or early 90's, are written on stationary from the oil companies where her husband worked. The notes discuss marriage, child rearing, and general attitude. After her death, reflections were found tucked in a box with photos and old greeting cards.

Encourage your child. This can imply conditional love. Let them know you're happy with their trying and you love them no matter what they Achieve.
    Some children children get depressed and feel pres-sured into succeeding & can sink rapidly, into despair if he doesn't live up to their dad's expectation.
    Parents should stop  and think about what & how they talk or show to their [something crossed out] kids before they [letter crossed out] can really do harm to their kids.
    Love your husband know matter what the circumstance is. You chose him for better or for worse. Ask God [letter crossed out] to Give you grace in the matter.
    God does not authorize a Man to act as an over lord, a slave drive, or a master of his wife [letter crossed out] Some men justify such actions by saying that God made man the "head of the house" This may be so or true in the spiritual sense , but God does not want him to become a bully.
    Some men abuse their wives and live like demon in the house instead of being loving protectors and providers for the sweethearts who gave them their love. These men are traitors, deceivers, and brutes.
    Enthusiasm is a feeling of being up - a zeal for being alive.
1. God knows best for your life. Put him first and leave the rest to him in Help.
2. experience things in life. Dare.
3. Lots of Activities - Greater Pleasures
4. stay fit [letter crossed out] enjoy while doing
5. Associate with enthusiastic People. Rubs off on you. Recognize by the way they talk - smile - walk - the way they make you feel.
6. Be a fan. Praise
7. Get interested. (Jn many things) Such as your country & the world around you. Be proud of these things
8. Can-do attitudes and establish Goals. It'll Help your confidence. These People are Happy. Practice - Practice for your goals. Sports - work Getting there isn't always easy. But you begin by Practice. you got to get in the water to learn to swim.
