Description of Enclosed Items
Tucked inside the greeting card is a letter that reads:
Dear Richard (Sugar Babe)
Hi There
How's it going? Still lonesome? This is sure going to be the longest week ever. Huh - Here it's only Sat, and I've got a week to go.
But really though, its going to be a busy week for all of us.
Tomorrow, Sunday, we have to leave here at Winnie's early as it takes two hrs to get out to the little country church we're going to, then at 4:00 we're suppose to be at my Uncle Guy's out on his farm. Winnie & Charles & Doug are going also. And my Uncle Kenneth, my Mom's brother that you didn't get to meet will be there also. I wish you could have met him. He's a sweetheart. You'd like him. I haven't seen him or his family for about 20 years. They're all getting together at Guy's for Dinner and Mom, Dad, Ima, and I are staying the night.
Everyone sure is happy and surprised I'm even here. I can't even believe I'm actually in West Va.
But yet I don't think I'll ever go on such a long trip unless you're with me and I hope you agree. Right, well I have a few postcards I must write. Give everyone my love if you can.
Remember, Bob's birthday is Aug 30 which is Tuesday. If you remember, go by and give him $20 OK, and tell him him I'll see him next Sunday.
If I'm not to tired I'd like to get Joanna Sat. And tell Jennifer I'll try and see her before she starts school Tues. (Sept 6).
Well, I better go. Ill call again Thurs when I get back down to Winnies ok.
Remember I love you
See you Sat at 5:00
Love Glenda
