This artifact is a page of Monica Rueda's 2015-2016 planner, where she lists her homework and things to do for the latter days of July 2016. Some of the tasks are starred or crossed out, indicating importance or completion.
The submitter provided the following about the artifact’s history: "I find that having an agenda with a list of upcoming tests and homework to be helpful to me. I also find it to my benefit whenever I plan my social events too. For this artifact, I needed a 2016-2017 academic planner and my attendance to class daily.
When I was in high school, I rarely used a planner to jot down my homework because I thought I would memorize all my obligations. But, I always forgot one or two assignments and it hurt my grade. I decided that I would not have the same thing happen to me in college, especially since it is crucial for me to get a good GPA to get in to medical school. Since I have been using a well-organized planner, I have been getting great grades and am on top of my academic responsibilities and it has been easier to balance my social life and my academics."
