This artifact is a painted wall that serves as advertisements for Greek communities on Florida State’s campus. It is advertising Phi Mu Sorority’s annual philanthropy event, Bonnamu, which is a battle of the bands style evening that features fraternity bands. The artifact is chipping because the area in which it is placed tends to have heavy traffic. The artifact is composed on a wall that is assigned to Phi Mu by Florida State. The sorority is allowed to paint all of their advertisements on the wall. Along Jefferson street, there are designated walls that other chapters on campus paint whatever they would like on to promote Greek Life and philanthropies on campus.
